Grammar: Can he climb a tree ?
 Yes, he can / No, he can’t
Vocabulary: Verbs: climb a tree, play base ball, read a book.

T: planing lesson, text book, tape, cassette. teacher’s cards. real object 
Ss: book, note book, workbook

Activity 1: Present the commands
- T uses TPR ( Total physical response) method to present the commands.
- eg: T: ( chØ phiÕu nãi ) climb a tree
- Ss repeat 
- T: play base ball 
- Ss repeat.
- T : Read a book oisau ®ã cÇm quyÓn s¸ch ®äc )- Ss repeat.
-T commands the class does as the commands
+ A student reads the commands, the class does as the commands
- T uses cards, the students look at , read the commands and do after.
Activity 2: Present structure
- T uses real situation to present the structure. 
- ex: T ( cÇm quyÓn s¸ch võa ®äc võa nãi ) I can read a book.
- T repeats “ Can ”
- T sö dông phiÕu vµ nãi ) : I can’t climb a tree
- T repeats “ Can’t ”
- T asks Ss: “ Can you climb a tree ? ”
 Ss: yes, I can / No , I can’t
- T ( use 111 card ) asks Ss: Can he climb a tree ?
Ss: Yes, he can
 No, he can’t
- T guides Ss to read sevaral times
Activity 3: Practice
- T uses cards to ask Ss . the Ss answer
- T devides class in to groups to practice
- T asks Ss to practice in pairs
I/ Present the commands:
- Look ,listen ,repeat and copy down
- Climb a tree :( v ) trÌo c©y 
- Play base-ball ( v ) ®¸nh bãng chµy
- Read a book ( v ) ®äc s¸ch
II/ Present structure:
- Listen ,repeat and copy down
- Can : cã thÓ
- Can’t = Can not: kh«ng thÓ
=> dïng nãi vÒ kh¶ n¨ng

III/ Practice:
T: Can she play base ball ?
Ss: Yes , she can ? No , she can’t
GA: Can he read a book ?
GB: Yes , he can 
S1: Can she play with a yo-yo ?
S2: Yes , she can
