I. OBJECTIVES:
1. Educational aim: Help Ss be polite and friendly in communication.
2. Teaching aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to introduce oneself, talk about life and hometown.

III. PROCEDURES:

1. Warm - up (5’)
Have Ss play game: “Introduce myself”
- S 1: Introduce name, age, members in family, hoppies.
- S 2: Report S1’sentence.
 Work in pair.
2. Pre - Speaking (5’)
- Set the sence: Make the right order for the mixed order conversation between Nga and Maryam.
- Get feedback and correct.
- Have Ss practice the dialogue.
- Call some pairs to check.
- Pair work.
- Read the answer.
 1-c; 5-b; 4-d; 2-e; 3-a; 6
- Pair work.
- Listen.
 3. While - Speaking (20’)
- Ask Ss to read information/table at page 8
- Have Ss make similar dialogues. Make model.
+ Nam: Hello. You must be Yoko?
+ Yoko: That’t right I am.
+ Nam: Pleased to meet you. Let me introduce myself. I’m Nam. I live in Ha Noi.
+ Yoko: Pleased to meet you, Nam. Are you Lan’s classmates?
+ Nam: Yes. Do you love staying in Ha Noi?
+ Yoko: Oh yes. Ha Noi is a beautiful city. Vietnamese people are very friendly. I love old cities in Viet Nam.
+ Nam: Do you live in city, too?
+ Yoko: Yes, I live in Tokyo, Japan. Have you been there?
+ Nam: No. Is it different from Ha Noi?
+ Yoko: It is a busy big capital city. 
+ Nam: Oh, it is very interesting. I hope I will go there next summer.
+ Yoko: Now. Let’s go to the museum.
- Call two pairs to check.
- Ask Ss to make similar dialogue with Paul and Jane.
- Read.

4. Post - Speaking (13’)
- Have Ss look at the pictures and name activities in the pictures.
A. Don’t walk on grass/ Don’t pick flowers 
B. Catch the red bus/ Catch the blue bus.
C. Go to Mexico restaurant/ Go to Hamburger store.
- Have Ss guess what Tim and Carlos are going to do by choosing the right picture.
- Have Ss listen to the tape three times and check their answer.
- Call some Ss to read the answer and correct.
- Group work.
