1/ Warm-up: (6’)
Kim’s game
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures in 2 seconds.
- Lead to the lesson.
- Play game.
- Listen carefully.
2/ Pre-speaking: (15’)
- Elicit some prepositions of position.
I. Preposition of position:
Preposition of position

- Present the picture, and give example.
EX: The rice cooker is on the cupboard.
- Ask Ss to ask and answer about the objects in picture.
- Call some pair to present.
- Listen, and take note.
- Pay attention.
- Work in pair in 7 minutes.
- Present their answer.
The sink is next to the cupboard.
The cupboarb is between the sink and the fridge.
3/ While-speaking: (14’)
- Introduce the situation: Mrs. Vui bought new furniture for her living room. But she can not decide where to put it. You should help her to arrange the furniture.
- Show the picture.
- Ask Ss to match the items with the correct picture.
- Remind structure.

- Ask Ss to write the answers they have just talked in their exercise book.
