I.Thể bị động ( Passive voice )
- Dùng thể bị động để nhấn mạnh ý nghĩa, đối tượng thực hiện hành động trong câu
+ Cấu tạo : S + tobe + PP + .. + by agent
+ Một số lưu ý khi chuyển từ câu chủ động sang câu bị động:
Tân ngữ của câu chủ động sẽ làm chủ ngữ của câu bị động.
Động từ tobe ở câu bị động phụ thuộc vào thì của động từ chính ở câu chủ động.
Khi muốn nhấn mạnh tác nhân gây nên hành động ta pahir dùng By + agent.Có thể tóm tắt bằng sơ đồ sau :
S + V + O
S + be + PP + by agent
1.Thể bị động với thì hiện tại đơn :
S + am / is / are + PP + ( by agent )
2.Thể bị động với thời tương lai đơn :
S + will / shall + be + PP + ( by agent )
II.Tính từ theo sau bởi nguyên thể :
S + tobe + adj + to + infinitive .
III.Tính từ theo sau bởi mệnh đề danh từ:
S + tobe + adj + that + clause
