I. Aim
Ss are trained speaking and listening skills. By the end of the lesson, they can make and respond to requests, offers, and promises. They know how to listen for details.

By the end of the lesson, they can make and respond to requests, offers, and promises. They know how to listen for details. II. Language contents: 1. Vocabulary: (n) paramedic, eye chart, wheel chair, stretcher, crutches 2. Grammar: Offer, request, promise sentences and responses. Present continuous III. Techniques : Kim’s game, Matching, prediction IV. Teaching aids: Overhead projector, A0 paper V. Procedures T’s and Ss’ activities Contents T asks Ss to look at the pictures on the screen and join in the Kim’s game. They remember as many details as possible. Then they say in English or in the mother tongue. T shows the picture which has situation about the request, introduces the structure. T writes it on the board. T shows the picture which has situation about the offer, introduces the structure. T writes it on the board. T shows the picture about the boy in picture e on page 82, introduces the structure. T writes it on the board. T asks Ss to look at the pictures on page 82 and match the situations with the statement. Ss work in groups and answer T corrects T helps Ss identify the situations in the pictures. T explains the situations in each picture. Ss listen T explains the example picture a on page 82. Students practice in pairs. T corrects T presents new words by showing the pictures on the screen. Ss listen, read chorally and the individually. Ss copy. T has Ss repeat the words in chorus, individually. T asks Ss to look at the pictures in their books again and match the letter A, B, C, D, E, F to the correct words in the box. T asks Ss to predict the order of the things in the picture. Ss listen to the tape 2 times they decide the order of these from tape and compare the order they predict. T explains the request carefully then asks Ss to write the story by themselves. T collects 2 paper sheet to correct and marks. T asks Ss to learn new words by heart, and make 3 situations to request, offer and promise. T guides Ss how to prepare next lesson Read. Learn by heart the new words. 2. Make and respond 3 situations to: requests, Offers and promises 3. Do exercise 6 on page 57, 58 in workbook. In this exercise, you have to complete the dialogues with expressions for requests, offers, promises. 3. Prepare: Read You will read statements about cases: - Fainting { victim, revise, elevate} - Shock { overheat, alcohol,,} - Burns { tissue damage (tổn hại tế bào mô), affected (ảnh hưởng), sterile dressing (băng vô trùng) - Grammar: The simple present tense Note: verbs { Force, let} Remark:
