Activity 1: Introduce vocabulary
- T uses cards or real objects to introduce the vocabulary.
- ex: T( cÇm 2 ®å vËt 1vu«ng 1 trßn chØ vµo ®å vËt vµ nãi ) It is round.
- T guides Ss to read several times
- T ( chØ vµo ®å vËt vu«ng vµ nãi ) It is square
- T uses mime to explain the meaning.
- T guides Ss to read.
- T uses cards to check vocabulary.
ex: T ( nãi 1 tÝnh tõ ) It’s round
 S1 ( lÊy phiÕu cã ®å vËt t­¬ng øng nãi ) It’s round
Class: It’s round
Activity 2: Present the complete dialogue
- T uses puppets and cards to present.
ex: Puppet B: ( cÇm phiÕu 77 ®ua th«ng tin vµ hái ): It’s little, What is it ?
Puppet A: ( nghiªng ngã nh×n vµo ®å vËt vµ hái ) Is it a ball ?
Puppet B: No , it isn’t
Puppet A: Is it a yo – yo ?
Puppet B: Yes , it is. It’s a little yo-yo
- T guides Ss to read several times.
- T asks Ss to practice in groups then in pairs the dialogue
Activity 3: Practice
- T asks Ss to use cards to practice in groups
T asks Ss to use real objects to practice in pairs

Activity 4: Say these p42
- T asks Ss to open their book p42 and introduce the picture.
- T opens the tape and asks Ss to listen 
- Ss listen and repeat sentence by sentence.
- T asks Ss to use picture to say.

II/ Present the complete dialogue:
B: It’s little, What is it ?
 A:Is it a ball ?
 B: No , it isn’t
 A: Is it a yo – yo ?
 B: Yes , it is. It’s a little yo-yo

GA: It’s long, What is it ?
GB: Is it a pen ?
GA: No, it isn’t
GB: Is it a ruler ?
GA: Yes, it is, It’s a long ruler
Practice in pairs:

S2: Is it a table ?
S1: Yes, it is, It’s a big table
 IV/ Say these p42:
Listen
Listen to the tape
Listen and repeat
