Activity 1: Introduce the vocabulary
- T uses cards to introduce the vocabulary . 
+Takes a card(a bat) and say : a bat, abat….
+T:yes, a bat 
- Say and write on the board: abat
- Do the same with the other words 
*Practice:
- T uses cards and put them on the board ( kh«ng theo trËt tù ).T points to a card and says the name on the card. Ss repeat if it’s right. Ss keep silent if it’s wrong.
-T uses the cards to practice.
eg: T: What is it ?
Activity 2: Review the Wh-question and answer pattern
- Ask for Ss to say again the question and answer pattern.
T: To ask about objects. What question is used?
+ Correct the mistakes 
T: (take a kite and ask). What’s the answer?
+ Correct the mistakes
Activity 3: Open the book
- Ask for Ss to open the book in page 41
- Read the words and ask for Ss point to the picture
- Play the tape 
-Correct the mistakes.
Activity 4:Practice
-T devides class in to groups and uses cards to practice ( chó ý sö dông card tõ 77 – 81 ) hs cã thÓ gi¬ ng­îc phiÕu ®Ó cã c©u tr¶ lêi “ I don’t know”
- T asks Ss to practice in pairs.
I/ The vocabulary:
- Repeat: a bat, abat….
- Look at the board and read
- Look at the board and read all the new words
- a jump rope : (n) d©y nhảy
- a bat (n) gËy bãng chµy
- a bicycle : (n ) xe ®¹p
*Practice.
- Ss repeat if it’s right. Ss keep silent if it’s wrong.
Ss: It’s a bat.
II. Review the Wh-question and answer pattern
- Answer: to ask about objects, use the question:…………….
