Activity 1: Introduce the vocabulary
- T uses teacher cards to introduce the vocabulary . 
- T guides Ss to read the vocabulary.
- Practice:
- T uses cards and put them on the board ( kh«ng theo trËt tù ).T points to a card and says the name on the card. Ss repeat if it’s right. Ss keep silent if it’s wrong.
- T uses the cards to practice.
eg: T: What is it ?
 Ss: It’s a doll.
Activity 2: Present the question and answer pattern:
Teacher uses a packet ( a gift ) to present.
eg: Puppet A: ( chØ vµo gãi quµ ) “What is it ? ”
 Puppet B: ( ch×a 2 tay ra vµ l¾c ®Çu ) “I don’t know.”
T points to a gift and asks : “What is it ? ”
Ss answer: I don’t know
Asks Ss change role:
* T opens the gift and asks: “What is it ? ”
Ss : It’s a doll.
Activity 3: Practice:
T devides class in to groups and uses cards to practice ( chó ý hs cã thÓ nãi ng­îc phiÕu ®Ó cã c©u tr¶ lêi lµ: I don’t know.)
- T asks Ss to practice in pairs.
I/ Introduce the vocabulary:
doll: ( N ) bóp bª
a yo-yo: (n) 
a kite : (n ) c¸i diÒu
Practice.
T: What is it ?
Ss; It’ s a doll
…………….
II/ Present the question and answer pattern:
What is it ?
I don’t know
What is it ?
It’s a doll 
III/ Practice:
Practice in groups.
Ga: What is it ? 
Gb: It’s a yo-yo
S1: What is it ? 
S2: I don’t know.

4/ Other activities:
 T opens the tape , Ss listen and point to characters in book. T asks Ss to listen again and repeat sentence by sentence
