Activity 1: Open the book p50
- T asks Ss open their books
- T introduce the picture by questions
“ Who’s he ? He’s Scott”
“ Who’s he ? He’s John”
“ Who’s she ? She’s Lisa”
Yes, They’re Scott, John and Lisa. they are talking about position of objects
T opens the tape and asks Ss to listen point to the picture.
- T asks Ss to listen again and repeat
- T asks Ss to practice the dialogue in groups.
*Activity 2: Present the paradigm and contraction form:
- T opens the tape and write on the board
- T explains.
- T guides Ss to read the paradigm and contraction form
Activity 3: / Practice
- T introduces picture p51
- T opens the tape, Ss listen and point to the picture
Ss listen again and repeat
- T devides class in to groups to practice ( use picture 51 )
- T asks Ss to practice in pairs
I/ Open the book p50:
- Open the book and answer
- Listen and point
- Listen and repeat
- Practice in groups
II/ Present the paradigm and contraction form:
- Listen and write
Where’s the kite ?
It’s in the tree.
Where are the books ?
They’re under the table
+ Where’s =Where is
 It’s = It is
 They’re = They are
- Read after the T
III/ Practice :
- Practice in groups
- Sam: Where is the kite ?
- Ginger: It’s on the tree .
