 Ss find out the word of the day by combining the first letters in the names of the pictures: Flower, Ring, Ice-cream, Eye, Nurse, Dog.

 How do you feel when you have so many friends/ a close friend?

1. The first quality is unselfishness, it says that friendship is a two sided affair. 
2. Because some people take up interest with enthusiasm, but they are soon tired of it and feel the attraction of some new object. 
3. Loyalty means that two friends must be loyal to each other and they must know each other so well that there can be no suspicions between them
4. There must be mutual trust friends so that each can feel safe when telling the other his or her secrets. 
5. Because such people can’t keep a secret. 
6. We should sympathize with each other’s aims, likes, joys, sorrows, pursuits, pleasures. 
Post- reading(8'): Tell the whole class about the qualities of your best friend.
