A.OBJECTIVES
- Perform their abilities in listening, speaking and writing related to the topics 
from units 1-5, using the phonics, vocabulary and sentence patterns they have 
learnt.
2. Competences:
- Problems solving and creation
- Communication and cooperation
- Self-learning, independent working and pair work, group work
- Linguistic competence 
3. Quality:
- Hardworking
- Responsible 
- Honest
4. Skills: Listening, speaking and writing skills 
5. Vocabulary: Review vocabulary from unit 1- 5
6. Grammar point: Review structure from unit 1- 5
B. TEACHING AIDS
1. Teacher’s aids: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette.
2. Students’ aids: Students’ books, workbooks, notebooks
C. PROCEDURES
I. Warm up:
 Review the model sentences and vocabulary from unit1 to unit 5
II. Revision:
1. Listen and tick
- Have pupils look at pictures on page 36 of the Student Book. Tell pupils that 
they are going to listen to the recording and tick the pictures they hear.
- Play the recording 2 times pupils to listen and tick the boxes. Check their 
guess. - Play the recording again. T give the answer:
- Ask some questions to ensure pupils’ comprehension of the listening text.
2. Listen and number
- Have pupils look at pictures on page 36 of the Student Book. Tell pupils that 
they are going to listen to the recording and number the pictures.
- Play the recording 2 times pupils to listen and tick the boxes. Check their 
guess.
- Play the recording again. T give the answer:
- Ask some questions to ensure pupils’ comprehension of the listening text.
3. Read and complete. 
- Have Ss read and do the task.
- Set the scene: “you are going to read the text and complete”
- Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary
- Call on some Ss to write their answers. 
- Correct.
4. Read and match.
- T introduces the topic “you are going to read the sentences to get the 
information in order to match the questions to the answers”.
- Ss read the sentences individually and check their prediction. Ss do the task 
(match the sentence with a appropriate picture.)
- Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary
- Have Ss trade the answers in pairs for correction
- Call on some Ss to report their answers. Others listen and comment.
- Make a few questions to check Ss’ comprehension of the sentences.
4. Look and say 
- Have Ss look at the pictures to Page 71. Tell Ss that they are going to read and 
fill in the blanks.
- Have Ss works in pairs
- Call some pairs to speak aloud to the class 
- Check and correct
5. Write about you
- Ask to look at the sentences on page 37.
- Tell to do individually. - Monitor the activity and help if necessary.
- Ask Ss to read aloud.
- Give comments.
