Skills: listening , speaking Vocabulary: Fig, twig II/ Teaching aids: T: Planing lesson, text book, cards ( tù lµm ), puppets, cassette Ss: Book, note book . -it III/ Activities for teaching and learning: -in 1/ Settlement: 2/ Warm up : Network: hit 3/ New lesson: fin Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Unable *Activity 1:Introduce the vocabulary: - T uses pictures, cards or real objects to introduce the vocabularry - T guides Ss to read and repeat these words. - Rub out and remember for checking vocabulary *Activity 2:Introduce the “ig” word family: + T introduces the -ig word family ex: T writes “ ig ” word on the board - T reads “ ig ” and point to it - T raises “ B ” letter and connect the – ig with B, become “ Big ” - T reads: Big, big , big - T raises “ F , T” and connect the –ig with F, T, become “ Fig, Twig” - T reads: Fig , fig ,fig - T: twig , twig , twig *Activity 3:Practice : - T uses cards ( tù lµm ) point to words. Ss read - T asks Ss open the book and introduce picture p26 - T plays to the tape, Ss listen and point to the picture - Ss listen and repeat - T asks Ss to use the pictures to practice ( hs 1 ®äc 1 tõ trong khung kh«ng theo trËt tù , hs 2 nghe chØ vµo tõ ®ã , sau ®ã ®æi vai ) Activity 4: - T uses question to introduce pictures and reading ex: T: What’s this ? T: Where’s the pin?
