Vocabulary: shop keeper, cook, taxi driver, nurse….. II/ Teaching aids: T: planing lesson, text book, tape, cassette, puppets , cards Ss: book, note book III/ Activities for teaching and learning: 1/ Settlement: 2/ Warm up : Sing “ What’s the matter ” song 3/ New lesson: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities *Activity 1: Introduce the vocabulary: * Present the new vocabulary: 1. a cook 5.a shopkeeper 2. a taxi driver 6. a teacher 3. a nurse 7. a student 4. a farmer 8. a police officer - Hold up one card at a time and say( 3 times ) - Check : Match and connect. Activity 2: Present the model sentences He’s a cook She’s - Use teacher cards and say - Write the model+ explain ( meaning, use, intonation ) Activity 3: Practice * Picture-cue drill 1. he/ farmer. 2. she/ shopkeeper 3. he/ police officer. 4. she/ nurse - Go through the cues - Model with students - Go around the class to check their work - Call some ss to speak out before class. * Open the book - Play the cassette ( once ) - Play the cassette again - Use pictures to practice Activity 4: Futher practice - Describle student’ occupation and their mother, father’s occupation 1. I am ……………. 2. My father is ……………. 3. My mother is ……………… 4. My brother/ sister is …………… I/ Vocabulary: Look + repeat Identify the occupation Listen+ repeat Write on the notebook II/ The model sentences III/ Practice One good student Work in pairs Listen + point Listen + repeat Work in pairs IV/Futher practice: Write the answers and tell to their friend Write on the notebook . 4/ Other activities: - Teacher’s remark: - Home work- Learn by heart new words and the model sentences. - Writing the new words.
