Make a dialogue, using the model to ask about their friend
S1: Hi, (Kate ). What’s the matter ?
S2: I’m sick
S1: That’s too bad. Get better soon.

Activity 1: Introduce the vocabulary:
* Introduce the vocabulary. Using teacher cards ( sad, tired, hot, cold )
- Point to the cards + Say: I’m sad/ tired/ hot/ cold
- Check the new word by showing the pictures and ask “What’s the matter ?”
- Describle the pictures , using guiding questions ( What’s the matter with Lisa, Scott, Jenny, Andy )
*Activity 2 Practice 
- Mime + guess “ What’s the matter?”
