Activity 1:Introduce the vocabulary:
- T uses real objects to introduce 
ex: T ( Gi¬ chiÕc mò l­ìi trai vµ nãi) Cap, Cap 
 - T uses other objects to introduce next words
- T uses “ matching ” techniques to check the vocabulary.
* Activity 2: Introduce the “at” and “an” word families:
+ T introduces the – at word family
 ex: T writes “ ap ” word on the board
- T reads “ ap ” and points to it
- T raises “ C ” letter and connects the –ap with C, become “Cap”
- T reads: cap ,cap ,cap
- T raises “ l , m ” and connect the –ap with L , M , become “ lap, map”
- T reads: lap , lap , lap, map, map….
Activity 3: Open the tape 
- T asks ss to open the book to P8 and introduces pictures. 
- T plays the tape 
- T asks Ss to listen again and repeat 
Activity 4: Practice :
- T uses cards ( tù lµm ) points to words. Ss read
- T asks Ss to open their books and introduces pictures on p8
- Plays the tape 
- Plays the tape again
- T asks Ss to use picture to practice ( hs 1 ®äc 1 tõ trong khung kh«ng theo trËt tù, hs 2 nghe vµ chØ vµo tõ ®ã, sau ®ã ®æi vai )
Activity 5: Can you read?
- T ues questions to introduce pictures and the reading
ex: T: What’s this ?
 T: Is it fat or thin ?
 T: Where’s the fat cat ?
- Gv lµm nh­ vËy víi tranh cßn l¹i 
- T plays the tape
- T asks Ss read aloud.
