Activity 1: Introduce the vocabulary
- T uses cards to introduce
T: ( gi¬ phiÕu cã h×nh gµ ): Chicken, Chicken, Chicken
 (GV lµm TT nh­ vËy víi c¸c ®å vËt kh¸c nh­ : piza, b¸nh m×, c¬m)
- T guides Ss to read saveal times
- T puts the cards on the board ( gv gäi 1 tõ, nÕu lµ ®å ¨n hs nãi I’m hungry, nÕu lµ ®å uèng hs nãi I’m thirsty )
* Pass the cards: gv giao phiÕu cho hs. hs nhËn diÖn vµ trao phiÕu cho b¹n kh¸c
Activity 2: Present the last pattern
- T uses cards and puppets to present
ex: Puppet A: What do you want ?
 Puppet B: (ch¹m tay vµo phiÕu 123 va 124 ) I want cake and ice-cream
- T repeats puppet A
- T does the same to other cards.
Activity 3: Practice
- T uses cards from 117 to 124 and 129 to practice ( chain drill )
ex: S1: What do you want ?
S2: I want pizza and ice-cream
What do you want ?
S3: I want cake and milk
Activity 4: Open the book
- T asks Ss to open their book on p58
- T introduces the picture
- T plays the tape 
- T asks Ss to practice the dialogue in pairs
