Activity 1: Review the alphabet
- T asks Ss to sing the alphabet song
- T puts cards ( A -> J ) on the board. 
 T calls the alphabet. Ss slap the alphabet.
- T repeats the pronunciation of the letter.
Activity 2: Introduce th alphabet
- T introduces the letters
- T opens the tape. Ss listen and point to the letters
- Ss listen again and repeat
- T introduces the song of letters
ex: T: K / kei / lµ tªn ch÷ c¸i K
 Ss: repeat: / kei / 
 T: K / k / lµ ©m ch÷ c¸i K
 ex: “ kite ”
 Ss: repeat: / k / kite, kite
- T guides Ss to read several times.
Activity 3: Practice writing
- T guides Ss to write the letter ( ch÷ in hoa vµ ch÷ in th­êng )
- T asks Ss to write
- T writes on the board
- Ss write in note book.
