Activity 1: Introducing the greeting
- T draws a birthday cake on the board and say “ HAPPY BIRTHDAY”.
- Ask Ss repeat.
- Reviews the numbers from 1 to 10.
T points to S1 and number 7 say :
 “Nam is seven years old ”
Points to S2 and number 8 say:
 “Hoa is eight years old ”
* T using two puppets to do model sentences. ask and answer about age.
- Puppet A ( chØ vµo dèi B): How old are you?
- Puppet B: I’m seven years old
- Puppet B ( chØ vµo dèi A): How old are you?
- Puppet A: I’m eight years old
- T explains question “ How old are you ? ”
Activity 2: Practice
 - Teacher divides class in to two
 groups. Each group uses one 
 puppet 
 to practice.Group 1 is puppet 
 A,group 2 is puppet B
 - T asks Ss to practice the dialogue
 in pairs
Activity 3: Open the book and listen the tape:
Open the book and point to the
characters .Ss see and discribe about those characters.
- Opens the tape 
- Opens the tape ( 2 times)
- Opens the tape again
