1. Educational aim: Students should know how to talk about their daily routines by learning a typical day of a farmer.

Practise reading skill based on the context to guess the meaning of

TASK 2: T:- asks Ss to look at the pictures in task 2 in their books and talk about Quan’s activities - explains the way how to do it - goes round and helps if necessary. - checks the Ss’ task. Suggested answered: At 2.00 o’clock p.m, Quan gets up after taking a short nap. He studies his lesson at 14.15. He watches T.V at 16.30. Then he goes to the stadium by bicycle at 17.00 There he plays footbal with his friends. He comes back home at 18.30 , takes a shower at 18.45. He has dinner with his family at CAPut!'.00 .At 20.00 he reviews his lesson. This is a typical day of Quan. Activity 3 15’ TASK 3: T: asks Ss to close their books and explains the way how to do the exercise. II.Newlesson 7’ 1-Before you listen: * Activity 1: T gives questions in the textbook for Ss to discuss and answer them. 1. Have you ever travelled by cyclo? 2. When was it? 3. Is it interesting to travel by cyclo? 4. Which do you prefer, going by bicycle or by cyclo? Explain why? * Activity 2 : T hangs on the b.b the poster in which there are some following words: district, routine, office, pedal purchases, drop, passenger, ride park, food stall Ss: work in pairs to discuss and answer the questions. Ss: read those words aloud and correctly. T:- asks Ss to repeat after her those words. pay attention to the pronunciation and the explaining of the new words. - calls 2 or 3 Ss to read those words again - correts if necessary. 2-While you listen: 22’ * Activity 1: Describle pictures - In picture a , I can see a cyclo driver, he is riding his cyclo. - Some people are eating sthing in picture b. - A cyclo driver is riding his cyclo with some children in picture c. - In picture d, a man is sleeping in his cyclo under a big tree. - A cyclo driver is riding an old man in picture f T: - checks before listening - gives the situation and explains: You will hear Mr. Lam, a cyclo driver in HO CHI MINH city talking about his daily routine. The picture in your textbook ( on page 16 ) describle his activities. Listen to the tape. Then number the picture in their correct order. - opens the tape the first time. - opens the tape the second time and stops 1 minute for Ss to take note. - opens the tape the third. - gives Ss 3’ to number the pictures in correct order. - calls 2 or 3 Ss to give their answers. - gives the comment and evaluation. - Ss : open their books and describle pictures in them. -Ss: work in group to guess the order of the pictures . -Ss: Guess the content of the short paragraph which they will listen. -Ss: listen -Ss: listen and take note. - Ss: listen and try to get all of the information in order number the pictures in correct order. - Ss: write the answers on the b.b ANSWER: 1. Warm up : II/New lesson 5’ - Greeting and checking absentees - T asks Ss some questions : 1. Have you ever heard a frightening story? 2. When did it happen ? 3. Where did it happen ? 4. How did you feel about this ? T: checks and explains in front of the class.
