 REVIEW (LESSON 3 UNIT 1-5)

1. Teacher’s aids: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette.
2. Students’ aids: Students’ books, workbooks, notebooks
C. PROCEDURES
I. Warm up:
- Have Ss sing the song “ The more we are together” 
II. Revision:
1. Listen and repeat ( page 10)
- Tell ss that they are going to practise saying the letters, words and sentences in 
the book.
- Put the phonics letters /m/ and /p/ on the board and ask them to read a few 
times.
- Play the recording for Ss to repeat a few times. - Do choral repetition of the words and sentences until ss feel confident.
2. Listen and write (page 16)
-Tell pupils that they are going to listen and write .Then say the sentences. Give 
ss a few seconds to read the sentences in silence before starting the dictation. 
- Play the recording for ss to listen and write
- Have pupils swap and check their answers before checking as a class. 
- T write the correct answers on the board for ss to check.
- Get pupils to work in pairs and practise saying the sentences.
3. Listen and repeat ( page 22)
- Tell ss that they are going to practise saying the letters, words and sentences in 
the book.
- Put the phonics letters /t/ and /y/ on the board and ask them to read a few 
times.
- Play the recording for Ss to repeat a few times.
- Do choral repetition of the words and sentences until ss feel confident.
