(pocket money/remember/share/ help/ classmate) - Ask Ss how they often make friends, what they often say when they first meet a new friend and what questions they often ask. - Have Ss read the questions (1-8) in task 1, then tick (√) the questions they think are suitable to ask a new friend at school. - Call some Ss to say out their choice. - Have Ss write one or two more questions. - Ask some Ss to share their questions with the class. - Have Ss give qualities of a good friend in class.(adjective) E.g: friendly, generous, helpful, cheerful ... - Ask Ss to read the questions in task 2. a. Ask students take turn to interview the others by using the above questions. - Give an example: 1. Do you remember all your new classmates’names? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t b. Have students prepare to tell the class about their good friends. - Give an example: Nam is my good friend. He often help me with my homework. - Call some Ss to present to the class about their good friends. - Ask Ss to answer some questions about their school. + Is your school big or small? + Is is quiet or noisy? Is it beautiful? + What is your school surrounded by? + What are there in your school? - Show the class some types of school: boarding school, international school, school for boys, school for girls ... - Have Ss discuss their dream school by using the pictures and their imagination, then write about it. - Ask each group to tell about their dream school and illustrate their imagination. -Guide Ss to do their homework. - Answer -Play in groups. -Listen and answer. - They are students. - They are happy… - Read and do in groups of four. - Do in pairs. - Speak in individual. - Listen and answer. - Listen and answer in groups - Say in individual. - Listen and answer.
