- use "have" for description

3. Techniques: Group-work, Listen and answer, Chatting, Gap filling, Individual , Pair work

4. Teaching aids: -Textbook , extra board , pictures, cassette.

5. Time: Allotted 45 minutes

T shows ss a photo and ask ss to describe
1. Vocab.
Ask Ss to match the words they know in the box with the picture on the cover page of 4 teen magazine.
T correct and give them some vocab.
2. Set the scense
- Use this pic to give model sentences.
Check : meaning, form, use, intonation. (Ss learn at grammar page 28)
2 Practice.

- Have ss create word webs and make dialogues
- Feedback

1. Part 3: Pronunciation:
- Have Ss practice the /p/ and /b/ sounds together.
- Play the recording and ask Ss to listen and repeat
2. Part 4:
- Have Ss practice reading the word pairs
- Play the recording twice
3. part 5
- Ask Ss to listen while T plays the recording. Clap to help ss understand the rhythm.
- Divide the class in to 2 groups. And have groups sing alternate lines
2. part 6.
- Ask Ss to look at the cover page of 4 Teen magazine and make the sentences.
3. Part 7. (p29)
- T shows 3 p ictures on the board.
- Use qts to elicit vocab about the pictures
+ Does the boy in C have a round face and short hair? Is he tall or short? Does the dog have a black or brown nose? Does the woman in C have curly hair? Does she have long or short hair? …
- Have ss listen about Phuc, Duong, Mai & match the pictures to the people
- Ss listen to the tape twice and correct their ideas.
