I’m bored Resources: Posters, flashcards, puppets, text book, lesson plan, tape… Procedures: Time Content Teacher & Students’ activities 8 Warm- up: Ss play Bingo with the words learnt 15’ New lesson. Listening and speaking. -Teach the new words: - bored : chán - OK: tốt - Happy :vui vẻ, hạnh phúc - Read each word three times - Have the whole class to repeat a few times. - Call on some Ss read aloud. - Ask Ss to look at the picture and ask them what they talk about and where they are. - Play the tape twice times. - Play each line of the dialogue to Ss repeat - Divide the whole class into two groups: One group repeat Mr Robot’s part, the other repeat Tom’s. - Repeat the step but swap their part. - Asks Ss to work pairs to practice. - Calls some pairs to demonstrate in front of the class - Feedbacks, corrects, remarks - Check Ss’comprehension 15’ 2. Speaking. Pre- speaking - Tell Ss identify characters and their emotions in the P of this section. - Guide Ss how to do this part: Ss are going to practise talking about the felling of the character - Recall the vocab related to emotions that Ss have learnt while –speaking: - Model first: point to the P and ask “ How are you? - Have another student answer “I’m bored.”. - Have the whole class repeat the question and the answer. - Repeat the step with other pictures. - Ask Ss to practice in pairs . post-speaking - Call on some Ss to demonstrate before class - Ask Ss to repeat all phrases to reinforce their pronunciation. 2’ Homework: - Prepare for Lesson 3, part 3, 4- Unit 1 Comments:
