- Read new words aloud.
$ Activity 2:
- Set the scene: At the classroom, teacher says sth to her Ss.
- Elicit 6 pictures & help Ss practise these sentences.
* Concept checking:
+ Ask Ss to translate these sentences in to Vietnamese.
+ Use: imperatives.
- Listen and repeat in chorus and individially
- Copy down.
- Repeat, read in chorus and then in individuals.

3/ Practice: (15’)
- Help Ss read 5 phrases in the box & run through 5 pictures.
- Ask Ss to match the imperatives with the pictures.
- Get feed back.
- Ask Ss to look at T’s actions and says:Teacher mines:

 open your book / close your book
- Read 5 phrases in the box.
-Match the imperatives with the pictures.Work in pairs.
- Look at T’s actions then say in chorus.

- Help Ss play “ Simon says” to practise the imperatives.
