Teaching aim: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to further practice review the simple present tense, telling the time, adjective with “ Be”, question words, answer questions about themselves.

II. PREPARATIONS: Book III. PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1. Warm - Up: (3’) - Have role play: ask and answer questions part 2/p. 60 +What time is it? ] It’s seven o’clock. 2. Exercise: (40’) a. Exercise 1: (10’) Simple present tense - Review structure: + S + V(s,es) + Do/ does + S + V? [ Yes, S + do/ does. No, S + do/ does + not. - Have Ss read exercises 1, 7/ p. 60,61. - Call some Ss to correct. 1/ 60: a/ get up –get up – get up – gets up – get up- get up. b/ do .have –have – does .have – has – do ..have - have c/ do ..go –go – do.go – go – does .go - goes d/ Do wash –wash – Does ..wash - washes 7/ 61: a/ gets up d/ has b/ takes e/ goes c/ brushes b. Exercise 3: (7’) Adjectives - Give the model sentences. + Is your { house } big ? + Yes,it is / No, it isn’t. - Ask Ss to make similar dialogue + school + city + country + living room c. What time do you have lunch? 6. Do you help your mom? 7. Do you go to the store? 8. What time do you go to bed? - Call some Ss to read the answer. 3. Homework: (2’) - Ask Ss to learn by heart vocabulary and structure.
