a. Exercise 1: Modal verb with If
- Gives Ss a picture and ask some questions
 1. What the matter with him? He has a toothache
 2. What should he do?
 If he has a toothache, he should see a dentist

- Review reported speech

Ex: 1. “ You read this sentence”, my teacher said

- Explains the structures:

Ex: 1. “What ‘s your name?”, I asked Lan
 I asked Lan what her name was
2. “Do you like learning English?”, the teacher asked Ket
 The teacher asked Ket if/whether he liked learning English.
- Haves Ss to do exercise 3-4/39.
- Calls some group to get information and correct
