+ Vocabulary: T provides Sts with words related to house, rooms,and furniture.
+ Pronunciation: - Helps sts how to pronounce: / z / , /s/ and /iz/
- Skill : Listening and speaking.
- Living skill: Sts can khow how to arrange things in their houses.
By the end of this period, students will improve their pronunciation : / z / , /s/ and /iz/ with nouns.
+ Behaviour: To make the students aware of the love of their home village.

How are you?/ Who’s absent today? 2.Checking up( 3’): - Write vocabulary. - Finish these sentences: a. The textbook/ behind the TV. b. The cat/ on/ the table. * Key: a. The textbook is behind the TV. b. The cat is on the table. -> T gives comments and introduces the new lesson. 3.The new lesson(38’): Content Teacher's Activities St's Activities I. Vocabulary 1. Name the rooms of the house Key. *Living room: lamp, sofa, picture, table. *Bedroom: bed, lamp, picture, chest of drawer. * Kitchen: fridge, cupboard, cooker, table, dishwasher, chair. *Bathroom: bath, sink, toilet. *Hall: picture. 3. Listen and repeat. 4. Ask and answer. Eg: A: What’s in the room? B: A sofa and a television. A: Is it the living room? B: Yes. II. PRONUNCIATION: /s/ /z/ /iz/ 5. Listen and repeat lamps posters sinks fridge tables wardrobes toilets beds 6. Listen then put the words in the correct column. Key. /Z/ /S/ /IZ/ Posters,tables, wardrobes,beds Lamps, sinks, toilets Fridges RULES: How to pronounce the final s, es + /Z/ Final -S is pronounced /Z/ after voiced sounds (b,d,g,h.m.l. . ) and any vowel sounds . Eg : beds . dogs, cans, rooms + /S/ Final -S is pronounced /S/ after voiceless sounds (t,p,k, f, ) Eg: cats. lamps , books, months + /IZ/ Final -ES is pronounced /IZ/ after s, z, ∫ , t∫, d Eg: buses , houses , watches , pages 7. Listen and repeat. Underline the final s, es in the words & write /z/, /s/ and /iz/ KEY: + /Z/ things , pictures + /S/ lights , chopsticks + /IZ/ dishes , vases 8. Listen and repeat. - Teacher uses different techniques to teach vocab (situation, realia) - Follow the seven steps of teaching vacab. * Checking vocab: Recall -Let Ss work in pairs. -write the name of the room on the board. - Ss work in pairs in 4 ms to write the furniture under these rooms. -Ss go tto the board to write their answer. (S by S) -Check the answer. Explain to them some new words. -Play the recording. -Ss listen and repeat. Tell Ss to do the task in pairs. -Then call some pairs to ask and answer. -Correct pronunciation. - T asks some Ss to read out the words first , then plays the recording for them to listen and repeat the words - T asks Ss to put the word in the correct columns while they listen - Ss compare their answers in pairs before T checks their answers with the whole class - T has Ss comment on the way to pronounce -S /-ES at the end of the words - T explains the rules - T asks Ss to give more examples -T asks Ss to read the conversation and underline the final s/ es in the words and write /s/ /z/ /iz/ ( individually) -Play the recording. Ss listen and repeat sentence by sentence.
