Activity 1: Introduce the vocabulary
- T uses real objects to introduce the vocabularry 
ex: T ( Gi¬ chiÕc mò vµ nãi ) HAT
 Ss: repeat: HAT
-T uses other objects to introduce the other words
- T guides Ss To read several times 
Activity 2: Introduce the “at” and “an” word families:
-T introduces the – at word family
 ex: T writes “ at ” word on the board
- T reads “ at ” and point to it
- T raises “ C ” letter and connect the –at with C, become “ cat ”
- T reads: cat ,cat ,cat
- T raises “ f , h ” and connect the –at with F , H , become “ fat, cat”
- T reads: fat , fat , fat ,hat, hat, hat….
+ T introduces the – an word family
( GV giíi thiÖu nh­ tæ hîp tõ :at )
Activity 3: Open the tape 
- T asks ss to open the book to P8 and introduces pictures in book 
- T plays the tape 
- T asks Ss to listen again and repeat 
Activity 4:Practice
- T uses cards ( Tù lµm ) point to words. Ss read
- Find your word family
