 *Activity 1: Present the Yes/ No -question and answer pattern:
- T uses an object in classroom ( ë vÞ trÝ xa ) to present the Yes / No question and answer.
eg: T( chØ vµo cöa sæ): Is that a door ?
 Ss: No , it isn’t
 T: Is that a window ?
 Ss: Yes, it is.
- T uses other cards or other subjects to ask “ Is that a/ an ….. ? ”. Ss look at subject to answer.
- T guides Ss to read the pattern
- Note : C¸ch s/dông cña cÊu tróc 
+ Is that a / an …….. ?
 Yes ,it is / No , it isn’t

Activity 2:
Devides class in to groups to 
practice ( using cards and objects in class )
T asks Ss to use objects in class to practice in pairs.
Activity 3:
T asks Ss to open their books to p5.
T introduces picture on p5
T writes the pattern on the board and open the tape, 
- Is this / that a ruler ?
 Yes , it is
 No , it isn’t
- T asks Ss listen and point to picture ( from pic 1 to 8 )
T asks Ss listen again and repeat
 Devides class in to groups to 
practice ( use the pictures p5 )
 - T asks ss to practice in pairs .
I/ Present the Yes/ No -question and answer pattern:
- Listen, answer ,and copy down .
 eg: 
Is that a door ? 
 No, it isn’t
Is that a window ? 
 Yes, it is
- Listen and answer
- Read after the T

Practice in groups:

III/ Open the book:
- Open the book and listen to the teacher
- Listen to the tape and copy down .
- Is this / that a ruler ?
Yes , it is
No , it isn’t
- Listen and point
Listen and repeat
Practice in groups .
 - Practice in pairs .
4/ Other activities:
Walk and talk.
