What’s your telephone number ? 3/ New lesson: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Activity 1:Open the book: - T asks Ss to open their books to p28 - T introduces pictures p28 by questions: T: Who’s he ? T: Who’s she ? - T: Yes. This is Andy and Andy’s mother. - T asks Ss to look at their books, listen to the dialogue between Andy and Andy’s mother. Point to the pictures -T asks Ss to listen and repeat ( 2 times ) Activity 2:Present the paradigm and contraction on p28: - T plays the tape, writes sentences on the board and point to the pitures. - T explains :+ What’s = What is + Can’t = Can not - T guides Ss to read the paradigm and contraction form. *Activity 3:Practice: -T devides class in to groups to practice - T asks Ss to practice in pairs - T uses real objects and cards asks ss to practice in pairs.
