III/ Activities for teaching and learning: 1/ Settlement: 2/ Warm up : Walk and talk S1: What’s this ? S2: It’s a sink . S1 Where’s the sink ? S2: It’s in the bathroom. What’s that ? S1: It’s ................. 3/ New lesson: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities Activity 1: Present the prepositions: - Use real objects ( a pen and a book) - Place the book next to the pen. Point to them + make the statement. The pen is next to the book. - Repeat the procedure for in front of and behind. - T guides Ss read and repeat several times. - T uses substitution drill to practice.
