Activity 1: Introduce the vocabulary:
- T uses real situation to introduce 
- ex: T( chØ vµo quyÓn s¸ch vµ nhùc m×nh ) This is my book.
- T (chØ vµo quyÓn s¸ch cña 1 HS n÷vµ chØ vµo HS ®ã) That’s her book
- T (chØ vµo quyÓn s¸ch cña 1 HS nam vµ chØ vµo HS ®ã) That’s his book
- T guides Ss to read several times
Activity 2: Present the new pattern
- Teacher uses puppets or real situation to present.
 Ex: T ( vÏ 1 chiÕc ®iÖn tho¹i vµ 1 sè §T lµ: 123-4456. dïng rèi lµm mÉu ) Puppet A: What’s your telephone number ?
- Puppet B: It’s 123-4456
- Puppet B ( chØ vµo b¶n th©n m×nh): That’s my telephone number
- T repeats puppet A 
- Then change role 
- T asks a boy and a girl for their telephone number. T writes the phone number on the board and point to them , say:- That’s his telephone number
- That’s her telephone number
- T guides Ss to read several times
