Activity 1: Introduce the vocabulary
- Use the real objects to introduce the vocabulary.
+ Take a yo-yo and say:
 a yo-yo; a yo-yo; a yo-yo
+ T: Yes, a yo-yo
say and write on the board
 a yo-yo
- Do the same with the other words 
* Practice:
-T uses cards and put them on the board ( kh«ng theo trËt tù ).T points to a card and says the name on the card. Ss repeat if it’s right. Ss keep silent if it’s wrong.
-T uses the cards to practice.
eg: T: What is it ?
Activity 2: Present the question and answer pattern:
-Teacher uses a packet ( a gift ) to present.
eg: Puppet A: ( chØ vµo gãi quµ ) “What is it ? ”
Puppet B: ( ch×a 2 tay ra vµ l¾c ®Çu ) “I don’t know.”
-T points to a gift and asks : “What is it ? ”
* T opens the gift and asks: “What is it ? ”
Activity 3: Practice:
-T devides class in to groups and uses cards to practice ( chó ý hs cã thÓ nãi ng­îc phiÕu ®Ó cã c©u tr¶ lêi lµ: I don’t know.)
- T asks Ss to practice in pairs.
I/ The vocabulary:
+ Repeat:
 a yo-yo; a yo-yo
+ Look at the board and read
- Look at the board and read all the new words.
+doll: ( N ) bóp bª
+a yo-yo: (n) 
+a kite : (n ) c¸i diÒu
*Practice.
- Ss repeat if it’s right. Ss keep silent if it’s wrong.

II/ The question and answer pattern:

- Practice in groups.
