 Lesson 1 (1, 2)
 A. Objectives.
 - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
 1. Knowledge:
 - Ask and answer question about what someone can/ cannot do.
2. Competences:
- Problems solving and creation
- Communication and cooperation
- Self-learning, independent working and pair work, group work
- Linguistic competence 
3. Quality:
- Hardworking
- Responsible 
- Honest
4. Skills: Listening and speaking.
5. Vocabulary: can, skip, skate, cook, swim, but.
 6. Grammar point: What can you do? − I can ___.
B. TEACHING AIDS
 1. Teacher’s aids: Teacher’s book, chalk, board, ruler, projector/TV, laptop 
and flashcards
 2. Students’ aids: Students’ books, workbooks, notebooks..
C. PROCEDURES
 *Warm-up: 
-Tell ss that they are going to play game “Lucky number” with teacher’s 
cards.
- T model and ss look then play game.
* New lesson
 I. Presentation 
 1. look, listen and repeat
- Have them look at the pictures and ask the questions: Who/Where/What - T introduce new words then ss listen and repeat them
- Play the recording for ss to listen and repeat a few time
- Do choral and individual repetition
- Call some pairs to read aloud and others give comments.
II. Practice
2. Point and say.
-T introduce the sentence pattern and new words : - What can you do? 
 I can + ride a bike. 
- Have ss repeat them a few times. 
- Have ss work in pairs: using the model sentence to ask and answer questions 
about what someone can / can not do
- Call some pairs to practise in front of the class and others give comments.
III. Production.
-Tell ss that they are going to play game “matching” with teacher’s cards
- T model and ss look then play game.
D. HOME-LINK
- Practise asking and answer questions about what someone can/ cannot do.
- Learn by heart new vocab.
- Do part 3, 4, 5 lesson 1in Student’s book.
- Prepare new lesson.

 Lesson 2 (1, 2, 3) A. Objectives.

 - Ask and answer question about whether someone can do something. 
2. Competences:
- Problems solving and creation
- Communication and cooperation
- Self-learning, independent working and pair work, group work
- Linguistic competence 
3. Quality:
- Hardworking
- Responsible 
- Honest
4. Skills: Listening and speaking.
5. Vocabulary: can, can not, play table tennis, volleyball, and guitar
6. Grammar point: - Can you play the piano? Yes, I can / No, I can not.

 2. Students’ aids: Students’ books, workbooks, notebooks..

 *Warm-up: The whole class sing “What’s the date today” song

 I. Presentation 
 1. Look, listen and repeat.
- Have them look at the pictures and ask the questions: Who/Where/What

- Play the recording for ss to listen and repeat a few time

- Call some pairs to read aloud and others give comments.

 - Tell ss that they are going to practice more with their friends.
 - Get pupils to work in pairs to interact
 - Call a few pairs to act out the greetings and responses in front of the class 
 and others give comments.
 III. Production.
 - The whole class play “Jumble words” game 
 - T guide ss play game – ss play game.

 - Practise asking and answer questions about whether someone can do 
 something
 - Learn by heart new vocab.
 - Do part 4, 5, 6 lesson 2, part 1,2,3,4,5,6 lesson 3 and Review 1, Short story 
 in student’s book.
