Activity 1: Introduce vocabulary
- T uses cards or real objects to introduce the vocabulary.
- ex: T( cÇm 2 ®å vËt 1 to 1 bÐ chØ vµo ®å vËt vµ nãi ) It is big.
- T guides Ss to read several times
- T ( chØ vµo ®å vËt bÐ vµ nãi ) It is little
- T uses mime to explain the meaning.
- T guides Ss to read.
- T uses cards ( from 77 to 80 ) to check vocabulary.
ex: T èinÝ 1 tÝnh tõ ) It’s big
 S1 ( lÊy phiÕu cã ®å vËt t­¬ng øng nãi ) It’s big.
Class: It’s big
Activity 2: Present the question and answer pattern:
- T uses puppet and a card 77 ( yo-yo) to present.
ex: Puppet A: ( nghiªng ngã nh×n ®å vËt vµ hái ) Is it a ball ?
 Puppet B: No , it isn’t
 Puppet A: Is it a yo – yo ?
 Puppet B: Yes , it is
- T repeat puppet A , Ss repeat sentence of puppet B
- T guides Ss to read several times.
Activity 3: Practice:
- T devides class in to groups and uses card or object to practice. 
- T devides class in to pairs to practice.
I/ Introduce vocabulary :
Big ( adj ) to , lín
little ( adj ) nhá, bÐ
long ( adj ) dµi
short ( adj ) ng¾n
+ Practice:
T : It’ s big
S1: It’s big
S2: It’s big
II/ Present the question and answer pattern:
A: Is it a ball ?
B: No, it isn’t
A: Is it a yo – yo?
B: Yes, it is
III/ Practice:
Practice in groups:
GA: Is it a jump rope ?
GB: No , it isn’t
GA: Is it a kite ?
GB: Yes, it is
Practice in pairs:
S1: Is it a bat ?
S2: Yes , it is
