Activity 1: Review the alphabet:
- T asks Ss to sing the alphabet song
- T puts cards ( from A to N ) on the board. T calls the alphabet. Ss slap the alphabet
- T repeats the sound of the letters
Activity 2: Introduce the alphabet
- T introduces the letters
- T opens the tape, Ss listen and points to the letters.
- Ss listen again and repeat
- T introduces the sound of the letters
ex: T : O /ou/ lµ tªn cña ch÷ c¸i “O”
Ss repeat: /ou/ , /ou / ......
T: O /o / lµ ©m cña ch÷ “O” trong tõ Octopus
Ss: repeat: / o / octopus, octopus ....
