Activity 1: Present the second of the dialogue: 
- T uses two Ss to present the second part of dialogue.
T: Happy birthday, Nam
T: ( §­a quµ ): This is for you
- T models with student 2
- Asks Ss to practice in pairs
- Calls some pairs to practice
T writes and explains new sentence “This is for you”.on board.
- Help Ps to say correctly:
 / th/ in “this”
 /th/ in “thank”
*Activity 2: Practice:
- Ask for Ss to open the book page 38 and remark the picture 
- Play the tape (two times)
- Use the teacher cards (77- 86) to guide Ps to practise
- Listen and correct the mistakes
*Activity 3: Introduce the complete dialogue:
-Teacher uses puppets to present 
 Puppet A: Happy birthday ,
 Janny.
 How old are you?
Puppet B: I’m seven years old
 Puppet A: This is for you.
-Puppet B: Wow ! a robot !
 Thank you.
- T plays the tape the first time.
