- Warm up: Command lines : Using teacher cards number 69+76. (Häc sinh A ra lÖnh häc sinh B thùc hiÖn.)

Activity 1: Present the first part of dialogue
a.-Draw a birthday cake on the board then give one S a birthday present and say: Happy birthday!
- Do the same with other Ss
- Ask Ss : Which Ss have birthday in this month. If have, say: Happy birhday
b. Say and write from 1 to10 on the board.
- Present the moder sentence.
T:( point to the number 7 and the puppet): seven. Mary is seven years old.
( point to the number 8 and one’s chest):
 eight. Ken is eight years old.
-Say again 2 times.
- Use the puppet to present the question and answer.
T: ( point to the number 7) 
 How old are you?
Puppet: I’m seven years old
Puppet: How old are you?
T: ( point to the number 8)
 I’m eight years old.
- Do again
- Ask Ss what they have to say 
- Say and write on the board: To ask and answer about the age; use the question and answer:
 How old are you?
 I’m seven( years old)

Activity 2: Practice
-Divide Ss into 3 groups and ask for they to practise. 
-G1: Mary: 7
 G2: Ken: 8
 G3: John: 9
+ point to the each group and ask for they to say their sentence 
- Ask for Ss to practise in pair
- Correct the mistakes 
Activity 3:Listen and repeat
- Ask for Ss to open the book. Look and remark
- Play the tape (the first part of the dialogue )
- Correct the mistakes
