Articles: a/ an / the / 

* Basic rules:

- a/an : when we don’t know which one, it is not unique and it has not been mentioned before.

- the: when we know which one because it has been mentioned before and it is defined by a phrase or a clause which follows and it is unique.

- We don’t normally use an article when we make generalizations.

- the + noun + of + noun ; the other ; the same ; the next ; the last ; the right ; the wrong

- The advantage of living alone is that you can do what you like.

A relationship/a connection/contact with…:
- Do you have a good relationship with your parents?- The police want to question a man in connection with the robbery.
