• Language content : + To introduce Ss to the text about role of women in society + To provide Ss with some new words relating to the topic

• Language function: + Reading the passage for specific information to understand the passage

 and give Vietnamese equivalents to words and phrases

• Educational aim : At the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:

 - develop their reading comprehension

- know some information about women’s work through the ages

 - answer the questions about the text
