- T: Sum up and lead in the new lesson

B. LISTENING (9ms) 
ACTIVITY 1: GAP_ FILL
Method of teaching : Communicative language teaching
- T: Instruct the task to Ss 
- Ss : Listen to T 
- T: Play the tape one for Ss to listen and do the task
- Ss: Listen and do the task, then share their answers with their partners
- T: Call some Ss to give their answers.
- Ss Give answers.
- T: Check the answers with the whole class (play the tape for Ss to listen again, pause at the answers for them to catch)
- Ss: Listen again and check.
*Some strategies : 
+ Read through the statements to understand them and underline key words 
+ Listen to the tape and pay attention to the key words
+ Choose the best answer based on what they can hear

ACTIVITY: Answering questions
- Method of teaching : Communicative language teaching
- T: Asks them to read the passage then decide whether the statements are true or false or not mentioned.
- Ss: Listen to T 
 - T: Let Ss do the task individually, then discuss their answers with a friend
- Ss: Do the task individually, then discuss answers with friends
- T: Call on some Ss to present and say where they look for their answers( other Ss listen to and give comment)
- Ss: Report their answers to class and explain 
- T: Give feedback and correct answers
