*C¸ch viÕt t¾t cña tobe:

Is not = isn’t are not = aren’t am not = am not

 He isn’t doctor
 Are they teacher? - Yes, they are
 - No, they aren’t
3 – There is/ there are...:
“There is” và “There are” được dùng để chỉ sự tồn tại của người hoặc vật tại một nơi nào đấy. Chúng không phải là chủ ngữ thật của câu, mà chỉ mang tính chất giới thiệu chủ ngữ, chủ ngữ thật của câu chính là danh từ đi sau động từ.
- There is + a/an + danh từ số ít
- There are + danh từ số nhiều
Eg: There is a chicken
 There are 2 chickens
